The Dazzling Diamonds Chorus was formed with a small group of eager and like-minded women in 2013 ready to learn, excel, and compete!
EDUCATION
Our primary focus continues to be music education and preparing for Annual SAI (Sweet Adelines International) Regional competition in March! We are truly striving to be "a cut above the rest"! In addition to sharing our music with others, another great passion of ours is learning more about the art of a capella singing. Master Classes are a regular part of chorus rehearsals, and a very important component of the overall chorus experience. Throughout the year, we will invite Instructors to work with us on the art of barbershop.
COMPETITION
In the spring of every year, we participate in our Region's chorus competition. Competitions are a special time for quartets and choruses from our region to come together to sing for each other, and get some constructive feedback from a panel of judges.
The winners of the regional competition in both quartet and chorus categories get to travel to International Competition, which is held in the fall in a city selected each year.
